By accessing or using RankMyHotel.net (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
RankMyHotel.net aggregates and visualizes hotel revenue and occupancy data sourced from public filings made available by the Texas State Comptroller of Public Accounts. We do not collect, generate, or independently verify the underlying data.
Access to the dashboards is provided on a recurring monthly subscription basis. The current price is displayed on our pricing page. New members may receive a free trial period as offered at signup. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel. Payment is processed by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Subscription" link in your account or through Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access until that date. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
If you are not satisfied with the service, contact us within 7 days of your initial paid charge and we will issue a full refund at our discretion. After the first 7 days, refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis. Free trial cancellations result in no charge.
All content is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We assume no responsibility or liability for any errors, omissions, or delays in the content or its delivery.

The service, including its design, organization, and presentation, is the property of RankMyHotel.net and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Underlying hotel performance data is sourced from public filings of the Texas State Comptroller and is not subject to our copyright.
The service uses third-party providers including Microsoft Power BI (dashboard hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Memberstack (authentication), and Google Analytics. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content. RankMyHotel.net is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Texas State Comptroller's office or the State of Texas.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankMyHotel.net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify the service, our pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

The fastest way to manage your subscription is through the "Manage Subscription" button on your dashboard, which opens Stripe's customer portal. There you can update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel your plan immediately. For anything Stripe doesn't cover, email us at the address above.
Questions about how a specific number was calculated, what data is included, or where to find a particular hotel? Email us. Note: we cannot modify or correct the underlying source data, which comes from the Texas State Comptroller's public filings.
